About ToothTraffic
ToothTraffic is one of the fastest-growing marketing and appointment-setting companies in the dental implant space. We partner with full-arch implant practices across the United States to fill their schedules with qualified, high-intent patients. Our inside sales team calls, qualifies, and schedules every lead we generate, and that end-to-end ownership is why our partner practices consistently see returns that exceed the industry standard. As we grow, our inside sales team is the engine behind everything we do - and we're investing in the leadership to take it to the next level.
The Role
We're looking for an Inside Sales Manager to lead, coach, and scale the team at the heart of our business. Your reps call, qualify, and schedule the leads we generate - and your job is to take any means necessary to continuously improve performance and maintain consistency as we grow.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has run a phone team before, lives in the numbers, and gets genuine energy from developing people. You'll lead with data, coach on the floor, and build the systems that grow a strong team of a dozen into a best-in-class operation of 25--30+.
Important to note our reps don't close the implant cases themselves. They book qualified consultations that show up, and our partner practices take it from there. Success in this role is measured by the volume and quality of scheduled patients your team produces, how reliably they show, and how well that performance translates into results for our clients.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, coach, and motivate the inside sales team, setting a high standard for performance and culture.
- Coach on the floor through live call participation, structured call reviews, and role-play.
- Run a consistent management cadence: daily huddles, weekly one-on-ones, and regular performance reviews.
- Identify performance gaps quickly and act with targeted coaching or corrective action.
Performance & Metrics
- Own the team's KPIs - booking rate, speed to lead, show rate, and deposit rate - and drive continuous improvement against them.
- Set clear activity and outcome expectations for every rep, and hold the team accountable to them.
- Use our internal dashboard and call recordings to monitor quality and coach with data.
Training & Onboarding
- Build and run the onboarding and training systems that ramp new reps quickly and consistently.
- Develop scripts, playbooks, and best-practice guidelines that raise the floor for the entire team.
- Keep the team continuously improving through ongoing skill development.
Process & Scale
- Design repeatable, scalable processes that let the team grow without sacrificing quality.
- Onboard and ramp new reps as we scale toward 25--30+.
- Identify, develop, and promote high-potential reps from within, building the team's future leadership bench.
- Partner with leadership on lead flow, follow-up strategy, and turning setting performance into client results and retention.
Success Measures
- A team that consistently meets or exceeds booking rate of 30%+, speed to lead under 5--10 minutes, show rate of 60%+, and deposit rate of 60%+.
- Faster, more consistent ramp time for new reps.
- Strong retention of top performers and a motivated, accountable team.
- Measurable improvement in call quality and conversion across the floor.
- A growing bench of internal talent developed and promoted from within.
- Clear evidence that the inside sales team is driving client results and retention.
What You Bring
- 3+ years leading or coaching an inside sales, appointment-setting, telesales, or call center team - as a director, manager, team lead, or sales trainer ready to step into full ownership.
- A proven track record of improving team performance, with specific metrics you can point to and explain how you moved them.
- Strong, hands-on coaching ability; you improve people through observation, feedback, and example.
- Comfort managing with data, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
- Experience leading remote or distributed phone teams.
- Availability to work Central or East Coast hours (West Coast candidates welcome, but must work CST/EST).
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in dental, aesthetics, plastic surgery, medical, or another high-ticket consultative phone-sales vertical.
- Experience scaling a team past 25--30 reps.
- Familiarity with high-volume CRM/dialer and call-recording/QA tools (we use High Level alongside our own internal dashboard).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $80,000--$140,000, depending on experience.
- Performance bonus tied to the team's core KPIs - booking rate, show rate, and deposit rate - plus ramp, retention, and overall account performance, with meaningful upside when the team delivers.
- Paid time off.
- 100% remote within the United States.
