About SafelyYou

SafelyYou's passionate mission is to empower safer, more person-centered care across senior living through world-leading AI, industry-changing hardware, and remote expert clinicians, significantly improving outcomes for residents while increasing peace of mind for families and reducing costs for communities.

Originating in 2015 as the doctoral research of CEO George Netscher—and inspired by his own family's experience with Alzheimer's disease—SafelyYou was spun out of UC Berkeley's Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, one of the top five AI research groups in the world. Today, our company is solving critical challenges in senior living, from resident falls and ER visits to staffing concerns, length of stay, and NOI.

SafelyYou is one of five most innovative fall technologies referenced in the Senate Falls Report (2019), a winner of the McKnight's Tech Partner of the Year, and has been named to Fortune's Impact 20 list.

Your Role

We are looking for an Events Manager to own our events program. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales—your primary focus is driving high-quality lead generation through trade shows and industry conferences, with secondary ownership of SafelyYou-produced and internal events.

You will own the full event lifecycle: orchestrating targeted pre-event communications, driving meaningful engagement on the floor, and managing post-event follow-up. You will work closely with the Director of Growth and the broader sales and marketing teams to ensure every event drives measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Lead Generation

  • Partner with sales and marketing to develop our events strategy, focusing on industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Drive high-quality engagement, curate interactions with target prospects, and maximize booth traffic.
  • Orchestrate pre-event communications to build awareness and schedule meetings.
  • Drive post-event follow-up to convert conversations into pipeline.
  • Track and report event metrics, including budgeting, leads, and ROI.

Trade Show & Conference Execution

  • Manage speaker and presenter application submissions.
  • Drive end-to-end logistics, including budgeting, booth development, production, shipping, and onsite support.
  • Coordinate internal team registrations, travel, and accommodations.

SafelyYou-Produced & Internal Events

  • Plan and execute company-owned events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid).
  • Manage event agency and vendor procurement.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams on content and audience strategy.
  • Assist HR with logistics for company meetings and team-building initiatives.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years as an Events Manager, Experiential Marketing Manager, or similar role.
  • Proven track record driving lead generation through B2B trade shows and conferences.
  • Experience managing diverse event formats: in-person, virtual, hybrid, and retreats.
  • Senior living industry experience is a plus.

Skills & Approach

  • Passionate about SafelyYou's mission and the role of technology in senior care.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including crafting targeted messaging.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient with G Suite, Microsoft Office 365, Monday.com (or similar), Salesforce, and Slack.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 base, commensurate with experience.
  • Fully remote work environment.
  • Competitive salary & benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision).
  • 401k Program.
  • Monthly Education, Well-being & WFH stipends.
  • Non-accrual PTO, company retreats, and parental leave.

SafelyYou is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage you to apply even if you do not fit 100% of the technical requirements.
