Sales Director -- West Coast

Location: Remote (Western US) Territory: CA, NV, OR, ID, WY, MT, WA & Western Canada Compensation: Superb base salary, uncapped commission, excellent benefits

Our client is a global ingredients business supplying the nutraceutical, food & beverage, sports nutrition, and pet nutrition sectors. As part of continued investment in North America, they are looking to appoint a Sales Director to lead and grow their Western Territory.

This is a player-coach role, combining strategic territory leadership with direct responsibility for revenue generation, key account development, and new business acquisition. You will lead an established sales team whilst maintaining your own customer portfolio and helping drive continued growth across the region.

The Role

  • Lead and develop the Western Territory sales team
  • Drive revenue growth across the region
  • Develop new business opportunities and strategic customer relationships
  • Grow existing accounts and increase share of wallet
  • Build and execute territory growth plans
  • Work closely with senior leadership on commercial strategy and execution
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success selling ingredients into nutraceutical, food, beverage, sports nutrition, or related markets
  • Strong new business development track record
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing sales professionals
  • Established network across the Western US market
  • Commercially driven with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
